I discovered that my portland cement and beach sand battery was somewhat rechargeable. The effect looks to me like how a high value capacitor would respond. I built a second cement battery using different ingredients and a different center copper electrode and it does not display the effect. Perhaps when the cement on this second battery fully cures the effect will appear.
